Happy Half way and More!

Can you believe it my half way point of this pregnancy has come and gone this week!  I can hardly believe how fast these 20 weeks have gone, i mean they have seriously flown by!  I have been enjoying this special time soo much.  It has happened, I have popped! Looking a little more pregnant than chunky.  I'm in maternity pants but still able to wear regular shirts, thank goodness i didn't like the super tight look.  Doctor did tell me that second pregnancies show sooner and can be bigger than the first pregnancy.  I just hope I don't look like a monster at 39 weeks, hehe.  I know it won't matter at that time what I look like I will just be elated that it will be time to have Victoria come into our world. I've been feeling very thankful, i appreciate every small thing i see, touch, smell, just simply experience.  On another note I've also been a little anxious about making sure everything will be just right before Victoria arrives.  This is very typical of me on the other hand Daddy is very laid back and is confident that everything will be always be ok.  This is a helpful opposite  to have in my life, relaxing is key.  I've begun a new routine this week of waking up at least once through the night usually between 2-4am. Ive heard this is your body prepping you for a new schedule once the baby comes.  It is hard for me to go back to sleep, i usually find something to occupy my thoughts and eventually fall back to sleep or get ready for work. I crave all sorts of foods and they must be fulfilled at that time or else the craving changes. It's kind of funny what my body craves.  I have craved anything pumpkin flavored, salad, cereal, peanut butter, soft serve ice cream, hard boiled eggs, fruit, and specialty items from different restaurants. Eating is definitely a big pleasure to me right know. Thank you Jesus for food!  Have I mentioned how much I look forward to Sunday's??? Let me tell you they come and go so quickly. Sunday's mark a new week and today marks week 21, this means we have 19 weeks or 133 days left until we get to meet our sweet little baby girl! I get so giddy inside when I think of that day.  I have spent alot of time shopping for the cutest clothes, shoes, and blankets lately. My favorite favorite place to shop for Victoria's clothes is Gymboree.  I love their themes and of course all the accessories you can get for an outfit.  I had the cashier tell me that we were going to have to take pictures of Victoria everyday because she was going to be stylin'.  I laughed because I  will be taking lots of pictures, and probably everyday.  On another note I have felt Victoria move , wiggle, and kick soo much lately.  If I am very still at night I can feel her jolt from outside my belly, but not very often yet. I can't wait for daddy to be able to feel those kicks.  It is absolutely rewarding to feel those movements through out the day it just reminds me that she is growing and having a good time in my belly. I hear her heartbeat usually twice a week and it is at a steady 156 bpm.  Thank you Jesus for such a miracle growing in my tummy.  I thank God every day that I have the opportunity to experience all these feelings.
Aunt Claudia and I are very excited to start the beginning stages of planning a baby shower.  Picking a theme, a location and all the details are some of my favorite things to do.  Cousin Naomi also wants to plan a baby shower on another date, she is unbelievably creative!  I feel so blessed and loved by my family and friends.  It will be exciting to capture all the special moments at these baby showers.
Time to really get things moving with the nursery.  We had the nursery painted two shades of pink when we were pregnant with Jolie, we felt this would suit our little angel girl.  It's been fun being pregnant with Victoria and thinking about a perfect theme for the nursery, Daddy had a great idea of having the nursery painted with shades of lavender.  I loved the idea, such a calming a soothing color.  I also like the owl theme, it reminds me being wise, and having wisdom.  The finished nursery is going to be very special!
Gonna have to get some pictures up this week, finally found my camera and charged the battery know let's hope it doesn't act up.  Gotta get a belly shot, and some of my favorite things we have so far for Victoria.
